Bicheno Blowhole: A hole in the granite rocks which concentrates even small waves into powerful jets of water. The Bicheno Blowhole is located right next to the water, along the sandy and granite coastline.

Lunch break: Fast food / Local restaurants / Self prepared meals. Recommended: Rock Lobster at Lobster Shack, Bicheno, or a wide range of seafoods at Freycinet Marine Farm.

Coles Bay: One of the most beautiful bays in Tasmania, stunning, sheer pink granite mountains overlooking the calm, crystal clear water of Oyster Bay.

Wineglass Bay Lookout: The crystal-clear waters and white sandy beach of Wineglass Bay are a tremendous sight. This is a steep uphill walk on a rocky, well-constructed track within the Freycinet National Park.

The Cape Tourville: An easy 600-meter long trail loops around this promontory on the peninsula’s east coast, crossing 100-meter tall granite bluffs to reach the Cape Tourville Lighthouse, a naval beacon on the point.

Honeymoon Bay is a small sheltered bay to spend a day by the beach, snorkel and paddle in the sea.

Freycinet Marine Farm: Taste some of Tasmania's best fresh seafood – enjoyed fresh on deck or taken away. Oysters and mussels harvested fresh from the farm daily, scallops, abalone, sea urchin and salmon sourced from local fisherman.

What to bring?

  • The Tasmanian weather may be unpredictable with strong wind all year round.

  • Sunglasses and jumpers are recommended.
