Bruny Island is Tasmania’s premiere island destination. Explore the island on one of the many bushwalks, coastal tracks or beach strolls. Pack a picnic for a self-guided walk or join an island walking tour. Explore the magnificent coastline on an eco-cruise, sailboat, or kayak. Bruny Island is home to fur seals, fairy penguins, albatross, wedge tailed eagles, white wallabies and many endemic species. In addition to stunning scenery, Bruny Island is a foodie’s paradise.  The island showcases a variety of artisan cheese, oysters, seafood, berries, fudge, wine, whisky, gin, beer and a selection of cafes and restaurants.

Tahune Airwalk is located approximately 70 kilometres south of Hobart. The treetop walk overlooks the Huon and Picton Rivers joining in the far distance. The Tahune Airwalk site offers three walks onsite plus the Cable Eagle Hang Gliding. The footbridge is a level steel structure with a steel walkway that is suspended over the treetops, as high as 50 metres in places. The footbridge is 620 metres long, with 1.6 kilometres of access paths to the bridge and 112 steps to climb to the peak.

FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK TOUR

Freycinet National Park is on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia. Trails lead up to a lookout for panoramic views over Wineglass Bay. White stretches of sand include the Friendly Beaches. Honeymoon and Sleepy bays form secluded coves. Views from Cape Tourville Lighthouse stretch over the Tasman Sea.

Cradle Mountain – Dove Lake with its ancient rainforests and alpine heaths, is home to the world-famous Overland Track and iconic Cradle Mountain. Part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, the park is one of the state's most special places, where ancient pines fringe glacial lakes and icy streams cascade down rugged mountains.

During late September through to mid-October the farm explodes with colour of tulips. People come from far and wide to see this spectacle and delight at walking amongst the tulips. They are the largest tulip fields in the Southern Hemisphere that you can actually wander in.

As you travel around the UNESCO-listed Port Arthur, discover the beauty, excitement and secrets of this mystical place. Walk through the Visitor Centre to uncover the history of this town and former convict settlement, which is on elegant display in exhibits that promise to inform and entertain children and adults alike. Wander through the museum and learn the personal stories of the commanders and convicts that have inhabited the port.

Zoodoo Zoo

Zoodoo Zoo is a hands-on safari and native animal park. Visitors are able to feed lions, meet reptiles, and see Tasmanian devils and other native animals, such as Wallaby, Albino Wallaby, Kangaroo, Meerkat, Zebra, Camel, Llama, Alpaca, Sheep, Deer… up close every day during keeper presentations.

Bridestowe Lavender Estate is a lavender farm located in Nabowla, Tasmania, Australia. The farm is believed to be the largest commercial plantation of Lavendulan angustifolia in the world and also the largest lavender farm in the Southern Hemisphere, famous for the spectacular view of the lavender in bloom in December and January.

Mount Mawson is located within the Mount Field National Park approximate 1½ hour drive from Hobart in southern Tasmania. The ski area is at an altitude of approximately 1250m and usually gets fairly consistent snow falls during winter resulting in sufficient cover for downhill skiing from mid-July to mid-September. This is a picturesque alpine environment featuring; gnarly snow gums, unique pandani plants and the calls of the ubiquitous currawong birds trumpeting across the valleys.
